The BCCF is proud and pleased to announce that the Joyce O. Maguire Fund in Support of Youth Initiatives in Choral Music has been established through the Vancouver Foundation. This endowment fund, created by monies from the BCCF, is to honour our much beloved, and recently retired, former executive director Joyce O. Maguire. BCCF President Inez St. Dennis recently issued a challenge to all BCCF members, to fundraise and contribute to the fund so that by the end of 2005, the fund is at least $20,000.

The BCCF hopes that the first awards from the fund will be given in 2006. Details to follow so watch this space.
